Blu-Float Solid Buoyancy Foam is a professional-grade syntactic buoyancy material engineered for demanding underwater, subsea, ROV, AUV, offshore, and marine research applications. Unlike ordinary foam materials, it uses a high-strength epoxy resin matrix filled with hollow glass microspheres and manufactured using precision high-pressure molding technology to deliver reliable buoyancy, low water absorption, strong compressive performance, excellent deep-water creep resistance, and stable long-term subsea performance.
This material is designed for systems that require dependable buoyancy at significant operating depths. It is well-suited for subsea robotics, oceanographic equipment, offshore instrumentation, underwater sensor platforms, and custom marine structures where long-term dimensional stability and pressure resistance are important.
All selectable depth-rated variants are supplied as standard blanks in nominal 500 × 500 × 100 mm block size. Blu-Float Solid Buoyancy Foam is available in 500m, 1,200m, 1,500m, 2,000m, 3,000m, and 6,000m depth-rated material options. Custom sizes or engineered buoyancy solutions are available upon request.
Raw blanks may be sawn, cut, bonded, CNC machined, shaped, or post-processed depending on the project. They may also be used for rapid prototyping or used directly without surface treatment where the raw material finish is acceptable. The listed water absorption value refers to the raw material itself, and direct use of the blank without coating does not affect the inherent buoyancy performance of the material. Raw blanks typically ship within 1-3 weeks of order.
For custom projects, customers may provide CAD models, STEP files, technical drawings, final dimensions, quantity requirements, depth-rating requirements, and application notes for review. Custom blank sizes, bonded assemblies, CNC-machined profiles, and finished buoyancy components are available by quotation.
Shipping Note: This is a custom-order industrial product that ships directly from our China production facility to your location. Shipping is quoted separately from China. Standard blanks are typically packed in custom-fabricated plywood shipping crates for transit protection, although packaging may vary depending on destination-country import requirements.
