When operated within its rated trigger pressure, it functions as a self-resetting momentary switch—conducting only while pressed. Once submerged beyond the trigger threshold, it automatically closes the circuit and remains latched in the ON state as long as pressure is maintained.
This switch can be integrated with the MOS Low-Side Switch Board for depth-triggered high-current control. After the trigger depth is reached, the switch conducts continuously—activating the MOS board. Manual pressing above the trigger depth also conducts but is momentary and not latched, making it unsuitable for use as a manual override in this configuration.
An M3 threaded hole on the top allows for installation of a custom actuator or larger button, enabling use in applications such as kill switches, limit detection, or depth-triggered logic. Constructed from anodized aluminum with a red actuation cap and black bulkhead, it is depth-rated to 1,000 m and supports signal switching up to 0.5A at 125V.
